We TRANSFORMED this Little Tikes Table with SPRAY PAINT

We started with a Little Tikes table, some Rustoleum spray paint, and a DREAM!

We had some family friends give us a Little Tikes table. These are normally $75 new, and a used one can be anywhere between $10-$20, so free is a great deal.

We then began the process of using Rustoleum Spray Paint (I am not sponsored by them). It took 4 cans of paint (two cans for the inside/outside of the sitting area, one can for the table top, and one can of paint sealer). All total, we spent $20 on the spray paint. If you want to see some Christopher Nolan-level mindbending painting skills, I have included a link to my YouTube video on this process at the end of this post.

We did not sand the table, since it was already weathered some and was in good condition for the spray paint to adhere. We used very light coats of spray paint so that it would dry quickly, and not run and leave streaking for the final product.

I also built the flower box on the top of the table using some scrap wood and some leftover spray paint from another project…you never know when your leftovers might come in handy!

I could see this being a great project if you have a budget, and want to get one of these tables pretty cheap and then spruce it up. I could also see this being a good way to make some money; if you found these tables on Facebook Marketplace for cheap you could probably refinish them for around $40, and at least sell them for the price of a new one…if not more because it is a “custom” table.
